We are recruiting for a Transport First Line Manager in Skelmersdale with our well established client.

As Transport First Line Manager you will need to have/be:

  • Excellent communication skills written & verbal
  • Highly motivated
  • Operational management experience
  • Warehouse, transport management and continuous improvement experience
  • H&S NVQ Level 3
  • Driver own vehicle

  • Working Hours: Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm

Role of a Transport First Line Manager:

  • Manage a team of drivers
  • Run and manage daily transport operation
  • Ensure all drivers have reported for shift, are briefed and de-briefed
  • Relevant driver checks are carried out in line with procedures and compliance
  • Deliver daily transport plan ensuring KPI achievement
  • To ensure an efficient fleet operation complying with all company and O license regulations
