Technical Account Manager

We are recruiting for a Technical Account Manager with our well established client.

As a Technical Account Manager you will need to have:

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge on the behaviour of wood used in timber joinery and paint systems applied to joinery
  • Training and presentation skills
  • Excellent IT skills (especially PowerPoint)
  • In-depth knowledge of joinery, frame constructions, material knowledge, milling and application techniques


  • Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday Full time
  • Location: South west of UK region
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Technical Account Manager:

  • Performing inspections on site (covering South West of UK area), both in advance (random sampling of the number and scope of defects) and during the start-up of a project and during execution (quality control and adjustment if necessary)
  • Recording inspection findings through standard reports and disseminating them to stakeholders.
  • Complaint processing, including: recording, reporting and internal consultation.
  • Provide training for contractors and clients or consultants
  • Training of new employees
  • Contribute to the creation and management of sales support databases
  • Efficient planning of work in consultation with the office sales department
  • Monitoring and signalling market developments and providing feedback to the General Manager UK
