We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager in the Telford area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Supply Chain Manager you will need to have/be:

  • A warehouse or supply chain qualification would be advantageous
  • Previous management experience
  • SAP competent i.e. MRP, BOM & schedules
  • Automotive Experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing

Role of a Supply Chain Manager:

  • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations
  • Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
  • Ensure an efficient warehouse operation
  • Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations
  • Ensure inventories are accurate
  • Organise, facilitate and manage stock takes
  • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
  • Oversee any planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Responsible for administration of EDI schedules and associated master data maintenance
  • Manage customer packaging requirements
  • Ensure control of waste management
