Product Test and Evaluation Manager

We are recruiting for a Product Test and Evaluation Manager in the Derby area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Product Test and Evaluation Manager you will need to have/be:

·Qualified to a minimum HND/HNC or City & Guilds level in mechanical / electrical engineering
·Good understanding of electromechanical tools and equipment
·Knowledge and understanding of product standards, directives and legislation in terms of product design, functionality and safety
·RoHS & Reach experience would be advantageous
·Analytical
·Commercially aware

Details:

·Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per annum (commensurate with experience)
·Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am-6.00pm and Friday 8.00am-5.00pm
·Location: Derby
·Duration: Permanent

Role of a Product Test and Evaluation Manager:

·Responsible for ensuring that products, procedures and documents meet directives, product standards and EU legislation
·Create product construction files, declarations of conformity and technical briefs for new products
·Compiling reports / findings on all tests conducted. Updating product test logs and Technical files
·Ensure that testing for safety, design, performance and compliance, of products, is carried out within agreed commercial timescales
·Maintain excellent working relationships throughout the business at all levels
