UK ESL Commercial Manager

We are currently recruiting for a UK ESL Commercial Manager on behalf of our client. This is a home-based role with extensive travel throughout the UK.

Role of a UK ESL Commercial Manager:

·Create and implement UK Sales strategy, in line with Company strategy
·Lead UK Sales team in growing sustainable sales, meeting budgetary and financial targets
·Drive best practice behaviours in all areas of UK sales, providing a direct approach where required
·In conjunction with the Marketing Manager and Sales managers, create and implement marketing strategies to complement and maximise sales opportunities
·Continue to improve Net Promoter Score through driving improvement in customer satisfaction
·Ultimately accountable for providing collaborative, productive, mutually beneficial link between UK Sales and Product Units and support functions, working together to identify opportunities and manage risk
·Provide escalation point for all Sales and Marketing queries and projects
·Achieve Sales Key Performance Indicators as directed by Company goals
·Grow sustainable UK sales levels across all product groups
·Provide effective link between subordinate teams and Senior Management
·Continue upskilling of sales force through effective people management and learning and development strategies
·Evaluate and prioritise Sales opportunities to effectively allocate resource from Sales and Marketing teams, and conduct effective planning with support functions
·Collaborate openly across the business to ensure needs of UK Sales teams are met as efficiently as possible
·Ensure processes and systems within UK Sales are LEAN, effective and as efficient as possible through process management and re-engineering
·Effective collaboration across UK Sales teams and external departments
·Demonstrating application of relevant market data in growing UK Sales, including, but not limited to, PHOCAS and CRM data
·Improvement in individual sales performance, achieved through development initiatives
·Provide exemplary leadership, acting as a role model to UK Sales teams and to other areas of the company

·Salary: £Competitive + Bonus and Company Car

·Job Type: Permanent
·Working hours: 8.30am-4.30pm Monday – Friday

As a UK ESL Commercial Manager, you will need to have/be:

·Domestic or Commercial Circuit Protection or Electrical Wiring Accessories market knowledge
·Best practice sales behaviours, including market data analysis and use
·Brand and product marketing knowledge
·Project and inter-departmental planning
·Budgeting and CAPEX processes
·Knowledge of and input into relevant external industry and trade associations, e.g. BEAMA
