We are recruiting for an Employment Law Solicitor for our well-established Client.

As an Employment Law Solicitor you will need to have/be:

  • An experienced solicitor specialising in employment law with around five or more years post qualification experience
  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • A working knowledge of the law on restrictive covenants
  • The ability to communicate complex issues and concepts to non-lawyers in plain English
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Have a valid UK driving licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for business purposes (mileage paid)

Details:

  • Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum (pro rata)
  • Hours: Part time or full time considered / 9.00am-5.30pm (20 - 37.5 hours per week)
  • Location: Remote working
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of an Employment Law Solicitor:

  • Represent both employees and employers
  • Prepare contracts of employment
  • Advise on settlement agreements
  • Prepare staff handbooks
  • Helping clients deal with unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, redundancy issues, whistle blowing claims, and TUPE issues
  • Appear at the Employment Tribunal, at least on preliminary matters
  • Prepare ET1, ET3, particulars of claim and grounds of resistance
  • Work with computer-based client management systems
