Business Development Executive

We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive in the Burton on Trent area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Business Development Executive you will need to have/be:

  • Proven success as a results-oriented telemarketing salesperson
  • Performance driven
  • Has a great telephone manner
  • Ability to follow a script to maximise results
  • Friendly and persuasive and an engaging conversationalist
  • Ability and confidence with a can-do attitude
  • MS Office literate


  • Salary: £15,000.00 p/a plus bonus (FTE £26k-£30k)
  • Working Hours: 20 hours per week Monday-Friday increasing to full time
  • Location: Burton on Trent
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Business Development Executive:

  • Sign-up new clients via the telephone using proven scripts: this will be 80% of the role
  • Represent the company by telephone or written communications and occasionally in person through networking events to book prospective client meetings
  • Generate appointments and seminar attendees through sales and marketing activities
  • Maintain a CRM database of prospects and clients with follow-up communications
  • Design, build and maintain the social media presence
