Account Manager

We are recruiting for a home based Account Manager with our well established client.

As an Account Manager you will need to have:

  • At least 5 year’s experience in an account management role preferably within construction, building materials or a related industry
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Some knowledge of occupational health and safety and environment
  • Proven experience of achieving targets
  • Willing to travel and stay overnight

Details:

  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday Full time
  • Location: Home basedcovering South East of England (from Northampton to Portsmouth)
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of an Account Manager:

  • Sell the product benefits to potential customers that are in relevant sectors
  • Cover the south east region
  • Find new prospects
  • Visit potential customers
  • Think of ideas in regards to product development
  • Contribute to the development of commercial policy
  • Contribute to the creation and management of sales support databases
  • Analyse target group and project data. Monitor and identify market developments to feedback to the commercial manager
  • Communicate with the technical account managers to communicate progress of projects, knowledge level of the contractors and any comments/complaints made
