We are recruiting for a Product Test and Evaluation Manager in the Derby area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Product Test and Evaluation Manager you will need to have/be:

·Qualified to a minimum HND/HNC or City & Guilds level in mechanical / electrical engineering
·Good understanding of electromechanical tools and equipment
·Knowledge and understanding of product standards, directives and legislation in terms of product design, functionality and safety
·RoHS & Reach experience would be advantageous
·Analytical
·Commercially aware

Details:

·Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per annum (commensurate with experience)
·Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am-6.00pm and Friday 8.00am-5.00pm
·Location: Derby
·Duration: Permanent

Role of a Product Test and Evaluation Manager:

·Responsible for ensuring that products, procedures and documents meet directives, product standards and EU legislation
·Create product construction files, declarations of conformity and technical briefs for new products
·Compiling reports / findings on all tests conducted. Updating product test logs and Technical files
·Ensure that testing for safety, design, performance and compliance, of products, is carried out within agreed commercial timescales
·Maintain excellent working relationships throughout the business at all levels

Role of an Operations Manager:

·Assist with the development and achievement of site strategies
·Ensure operational expectations are met and OTIF delivery targets are achieved
·Identify quality and efficiency improvements
·Make recommendations for improving process and productivity
·Develop and build relationships with internal customers
·Ensure all site maintenance is undertaken
·Motivate and manage staff members, recruit new team members, manage staff levels, authorise holidays and overtime working

Product Test Engineer

We are recruiting for a Product Test Engineer in the Derby area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Product Test Engineer you will need to have/be:

·Familiarity with the design, construction and use of hand tools, electrical power tools, mechanical equipment and their accessories
·Knowledge of product design, functionality and safety
·Have the ability to understand product specifications
·Mechanical understanding of associated products, equipment and workshop equipment

Details:

·Salary: Up to £28,000.00 per annum
·Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am-6.00pm and Friday 8.00am-5.00pm
·Location: Derby
·Duration: Permanent

Role of a Product Test Engineer:

·Evaluating new and current products
·Testing the safety, design and performance of our product range
·Logging and reporting findings on all sample submissions
·Create and maintain product construction files
·Evaluating any modifications on existing product range
·Compiling reports on all findings and tests conducted
·Updating product test log and Technical files
·Maintain excellent working relationships throughout the business at all levels to ensure all quality needs and requirements are met swiftly and efficiently
