Process Technician

We are recruiting for a Process Technician in Banbury with our well established client. The role will be to oversee and implement new processes and procedures required for the safe and efficient introduction of new product lines and technologies.

As a Process Technician you will need to have/be:

  • At least 10 years higher level technical processing experience within an automotive injection moulding environment
  • A high level of knowledge and experience regarding injection moulding tools, processing, moulding machines and secondary equipment
  • Proven history of implementing new ideas and processes
  • Manual dexterity
  • Literacy and numeracy
  • Must be comfortable with integrating new technologies into an existing business environment
  • Ability to work under pressure on own initiative
  • Strong attention span with a good eye for detail
  • Able to follow formal procedures
  • Good communication skills

  • Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm & Friday 8.00am - 12.45pm
  • Location: Banbury
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Process Technician:

  • Develop, configure and optimise industrial processes for new product lines and technologies from inception through to introduction and certification
  • Liaise and support the cross functional team to ensure all production requirements are met
  • Attend internal meetings to review new process and equipment plans and progress
  • Identify timelines and action plans to ensure the smooth introduction of new product lines
  • Identify opportunities for development of current equipment or implementation of new equipment
  • Provide processes, procedures and standard documentation for the introduction of new product lines and technologies
  • Identify training needs relating to the introduction of new equipment, support and upskill production team where required
  • Conduct trials to prove new equipment and technologies
  • Perform risk assessments and liaise with Health and Safety department
  • Provide engineering and technical services to improve the performance of the plant
  • Support and drive mould KPI's forward
